Sterilcap is a sterilization system suitable for treating one-piece plastic
caps. The caps are sterilized with oxidizing agent, rinsed with sterile water
and fed to the Unibloc through a descent channel pressurized with sterile air.
The caps are handled by gravity to reduce mechanical stress of the cap
during treatment and to reduce capping defects.
The machine is completely covered with an airtight casing to keep the area
of transfer of the treated caps in overpressure of sterile air and to safeguard
against the escaping of peroxide vapours from the sterilization area.
The
machine continually checks the pressure, temperature and overall flow rate to
the nozzles to guarantee that the treatment conforms to the preset parameters.
