DRINK TECHNOLOGY + MARKETING
Procomac Spa, an Italian company, has just launched the fourth generation of its aseptic filling blocs, the brand new UNIBLOC SPIN. The evolved design of UNIBLOC SPIN has led to extreme compactness and to the elimination of most moving parts inside the critical area under the microbiological isolator.
Bottles are turned upside down only before sterilization and after rinsing: in this way an optima use of the sterilizing and rinsing carrousel is achieved, with a further reduction of footprint compared to a 3rd generation system with the same performances. UNIBLOC SPIN neck handling can handle bottles with different neck diameters with minimal changeover downtime; all process units are completely integrated in functional areas that encompass different functions to reduce process area footprint and simplify piping and maintenance.
Procomac has also developed a new product pasteurizer UNITHERM in a multiskid version with homogenizer and degaser. The tubular heat exchanger consents the treatment of products with fibers of considerable dimensions as well as products with pieces.
Procomac Packaging is going to present its OPERA low level infeed palletiser. The extensive use of belts instead of chains accounts for fast and quiet operations and high reliability.
HAL, a compact bloc for low speed production of carbonated water and CSD next to the CHECKSTAR, a full bottle level, label and caps inspector are also available.
CHECKSTAR allows full quality control on the line with automatic bottle sampling and can be connected with an electronic filler to provide level control feedback and automatic filling valve level adjustment. CHECKSTAR can also be connected to a company’s ERP software to provide real-time production data for analysis purposes.
Procomac has also presented the latest line supervision software, the PLUS series. PLUS offers remote line management, line efficiency analysis following DIN 8782 standards, integrated traceability and simplified operator interface.
