Saltum-Houlbjerg Bryggerier based in Saltum, Danemark is a bottling company specialised in the production and sale under contract of B-brands and discount soft drinks to the retail sector. After its recent acquisition by Carlsberg and the interesting prospects for its business development, Saltum-Houlbjerg has opted for a Synchro Blow-fill system to upgrade its mineral water production capability. This Synchro has a filling speed in excess of 14,000 bph on 0.5 l. bottles and more than 8,000 on 1.5 l. bottles. The filling part includes a Procomac Fillstar SF PET2 40 gravity filler. Moreover, Procomac Packaging has supplied all conveyors for bottle and packs. The supply is completed by a Checkstar full bottle inspection system to control fill level / correct cap application and label presence and positioning.
