Commercial production has started in the new bottling line installed at the production facility of Nuova Sa.Mi.Cer. in Cervarezza, in the Apennines mountains of Reggio Emilia county in northern Italy. The heart of the filling line is the integrated SYNCHRO blow/fill system with SIPA SFR bottle blowing unit and PROCOMAC Fillstar PET counterpressure filler. The line bottles still and carbonated water in PET bottles (1.5 and 0.5 l) for a production of 16,000 bph. Procomac supply extends to bottle and shrink-wraps conveyors, UNISAT C carbonator and the end-of-line equipment with PRIMUS palletiser by Procomac Packaging.
