Refrescos is a Spanish bottling company who has been very active in the market for fruit juices and nectars, still soft drinks and carbonated soft drinks. Refrescos de Sur Europa, thanks to its wide experience in the bottling sector, is considered one of the leading companies on the Spanish market, also because of its really diffused and effective supply chain.

An european Producer
The three production facilities in Navarra, Alcolea near Cordoba and Valencia are part Refresco Holding, a group of companies with more than 1250 employees and a 2006 turnover in excess of 660 million Euro. Other companies within the group include Menken Drinks (Netherlands), Delifruits (France), Kring Fruit-drinks and Hardthof Fruchtsaft (Germany), Vip-Juicemaker Oy (Finland) and the la test acquisition dated February 2007, Kentpol in Poland.
The group features 12 production facilities in Europe with a total production capability of more than 13 million packages per day produced on 80 lines. Its mission is to become one of the leading European suppliers of juices and carbonated soft drinks, with a distinguished quality in terms of products, people and performance.

GEA Procomac and Refrescos
GEA Procomac has been dealing with Refrescos de Sur Europa in a number of different project in the last few years. In the latest of these projects GEA Procomac has been selected to supply a complete filling bloc for carbonated soft drinks capable of filling 14,000 2.0 lt PET bottles per hour.
The mechanical counterpressure filler Fillstar PET2 with complete bottle neck handling has been chosen for its simple management, its sturdiness and its reliability. The unit is complete with pipelined snift to keep a clean filling environment on long production shifts. The integrated 15 head capper is supplied by AROL.
