The new air conveyor CONVAIR 2000 is the result of long professional
experience in the construction of conveyors.
A new project has produced a
highly efficient conveyor with optimal control of the contamination level of
the bottles.
Air cushion effect
Convair 2000 uses new blowing guides that work in the vicinity of the bottle
neck guides. In this way a cushion of air is created: the cushion, in addition
to reducing friction, increases the energy efficiency of the conveyor.
It is
therefore possible to reduce the required number of blowing stations (up to 14
meters per station) while reducing the probability of blockages on the line.
This system allows even bottles with a critical shape to be handled.
Operating logic
The Procomac bottle conveying systems are managed by an operating logic that
is individually designed for each line. A group of sensors reads the bottle
flow data and sends them to a centralized PLC that control the inverters of
each single blowing station, so ensuring the intelligent modulation of the air
flows.
