The PONTI group, a historical Italian company and European
leader in the production of wine vinegar, producing over 32 million litres,
with an annual production exceeding 54 million bottles in the vinegar sector
and over 25 million jars of preserves, has recently signed a contract with
Procomac Packaging to supply a downstream palletising system for its plant in
Ghemme (NO).
The technical features, the proven reliability of the machine
and the strong relationship of trust established between the two companies over
the years, are the basic components of this preferential partnership as has
resulted in the placement of a sixth order.
The supply consists in a new
OPERA 1000 with single - low level product infeed palletiser replacing the
existing one and additional infeed conveyors.
The line is dedicated to the
small formats of balsamic vinegar of 250 ml, for this reason the machine is
equipped with a motorised divider unit from 1 to 3 ways placed on the infeed
conveyors that allows to reduce the layer preparation time and to reach the
production speed of 19.800 bph with the format 3x2 pack 250 ml.
