GEA Procomac, a manufacturing company for bottling lines based in Sala
Baganza, is one of the first companies in this sector to achieve the 3A
international certification for its milk filling lines based on the
newest and strictest methods of judgement.
This certification formulates
standards and practices for the sanitary design, fabrication, installation and
cleanability of dairy equipment, process, handling systems and packaging of
consumable products where a high degree of sterilisation is required.
The
new certifying methods are based not only on the study of the project, but also
on an internal inspection visit that takes into consideration all the company's
aspects: projects, mechanical operations, quality and customer
satisfaction.
The goal of the 3A certification is to enhance product safety
and to ensure that all product surfaces can be mechanically cleaned or easily
dismantled for manual cleaning.
This certification guarantees that the
production of the milk filler based on the GEA Procomac Fillstar Fx system
respects the standards given by the 3A Sanitary Standard, Inc.
GEA Procomac
Fillstar Fx electronic volumetric filler, designed for aseptic filling, needed
only minor modifications to meet the certification's standards.
After the
establishment of the GEA Procomac Process Division in 2003, GEA Procomac has
reached this important goal in order to give its clients a further guarantee in
terms of safety of the bottled product.
